Wycliffe Nduga Ouma is a Research Associate managing the Centre’s Research Portfolio. His responsibilities
include managing all the research processes from inception to final research ready for publication. He also
manages CAPSI research associates and coordinates the annual Academic Conference. He holds a Ph.D. in
Financial Economics where his research specialised in Risk and Returns in less developed markets. This background gives Wycliffe ample opportunity to blend financial economics research and the broad area of research in philanthropy. Using this knowledge, Wycliffe was among the pioneering authors at the inaugural International Review on Philanthropy and Social Investment Journal writing on corporate philanthropy and firm value in Africa. He recently contributed to African Philanthropy: Philanthropic Responses to COVID-19 and Development Goals in Africa. He was previously on the board and is an active member of the International Society for Third Sector Research.
