Niamani Mutima

Niamani Mutima is the Executive Director of Africa Grantmakers Affinity Group (AGAG), who has developed a reputation for her skill in connecting people and ideas. Prior to joining AGAG, she worked with the Africa- American Institute (AAI) in various departments and programmes, working with the Board of Trustees. As part of the Conference Programme staff, she organised domestic and international conferences on topics ranging from media, trade and economic development to gender, education, and international policy issues. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. A thought leader, she has a diverse international network of like-minded creative and visionary colleagues in the arts and philanthropy, with a focus on the African diaspora community.
